Does PDR damage your car’s paint?

Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) is a method of removing dents and dings from the body of a vehicle without damaging the paint. Our PDR Technicians use specialised tools to massage the dent from the inside of the panel, gradually returning it to its original shape. As PDR does not involve sanding, filling, or painting, it does not damage the vehicle’s factory finish. In fact, one of the main benefits of PDR is that it preserves the original paint on the vehicle, making it a good option for maintaining the value of your Pride and Joy.

How long will Paintless Dent Removal take?

The length of time it takes to perform Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) can vary depending on the size and location of the dent. Some small dents may be repaired in just a few minutes, while larger dents or dents in hard-to-reach areas may take several hours to fix.

In general, PDR is a relatively quick process compared to traditional body repair methods, which can take days or even weeks to complete. Our Technician will first assess the damage to your vehicle and determine the best approach for repairing it. We will then use specialised tools to carefully massage the Dent from the inside of the panel until it is back in its original shape. The entire process can usually be completed in a single day, depending on the extent of the damage.
